Vehicle Insurance

We help you obtain the right cover for your vehicle or your company fleet, third-party or comprehensive, from insurers licensed in the Saudi market.

    What is vehicle insurance?

Vehicle insurance protects the owner from the financial consequences of accidents. Third-party liability insurance is compulsory for vehicles in Saudi Arabia, and protection can be extended with comprehensive insurance to cover your own vehicle.

As an insurance broker licensed by the Insurance Authority, we do not sell a single insurer's policy. We take your requirement to the market and compare cover and price to recommend what suits you.

    Types of cover

    • Third-party liability: covers property damage and bodily injury caused to others by your vehicle. This is the compulsory minimum.
    • Comprehensive: adds cover for your own vehicle against accident, theft, fire and the other perils named in the policy.
    • Fleet insurance: one policy for all of a company's vehicles, which simplifies administration, renewal, and adding or removing vehicles.

    Who is it for?

Companies and establishments that own vehicles or run transport, distribution or rental fleets, as well as individuals. Business requests are submitted through the quote request form on our website. Individuals can issue their policies online through Amman, the company's digital platform.

    How we work for you

    • Review your needs, the number of vehicles and how they are used.
    • Request offers from insurers and compare cover, deductibles and prices.
    • Follow up policy issuance, renewal, and vehicle additions or deletions during the policy period.
    • Follow up claims with the insurer until they are closed.

    Information usually required

Requirements vary by insurer. We usually need the following:

    • Vehicle details (registration, or a vehicle list for fleets).
    • The establishment's commercial registration.
    • Driver details when requested.
    • Previous claims history, if any.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between third-party and comprehensive insurance?

Third-party insurance covers only the damage and injuries your vehicle causes to others. Comprehensive insurance covers that and adds cover for your own vehicle against accident, theft, fire and other perils, subject to the policy terms.

Is vehicle insurance compulsory in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Third-party liability insurance is compulsory for vehicles in the Kingdom. Comprehensive insurance is optional and is advisable for new or high-value vehicles.

Do you offer vehicle insurance for individuals?

Yes. Individuals are served online through Amman (ammn.com.sa), the digital platform of the National Insurance Brokerage.

What affects the price of vehicle insurance?

Price depends on factors such as the vehicle's type, value and year, the driver's details and record, the type of cover and the deductible. That is why we compare offers from several insurers before recommending one.
